| The Audiovisual Division is located in the Mezzanine
of the Whittier Central Library. The Audiovisual division catalogs,
processes and circulates Recorded Literature, Videocassettes, DVDs
and Compact Discs. Word Processing computers, typewriters, microform
readers, color copying and older magazines and newspapers are also
available.
The primary Audiovisual Collection consists of:
Recorded Literature - Tape and CD Format
- Over 2,000 titles
- Titles check out for 3 weeks and may be renewed for 1 additional
week
Videocassettes and DVDs
- Over 4,200 titles with an extensive foreign, independent and
non-feature film collection
- Feature films check out for 2 days; Non-fiction titles check
out for 7 days
- No reserves or renewals are available
Compact Discs
- Over 2,500 titles
- Titles check out for 3 weeks and may be renewed for 1 additional
week
